Serving the community has been a lifelong commitment for Father Wilmer 'Willie' Todd that has gone above and beyond his ordination to the priesthood. During his time as a priest, Fr. Todd served in many positions, such as school counselor and then principal at both Holy Cross Elementary and Central Catholic High School.

Giving for the Faith of Younger Generations

Bernadette Mabile is a longtime volunteer at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. She is single with no children, and has been teaching CCD for 40-plus years at St. Bridget, where she fell in love with the children in the parish.

A Legacy of Supporting the Community

Maurice E. Adams was a quiet, simple man who worked hard and loved to hunt and fish—just an ordinary guy who was very passionate about his community. He was well respected across the community but especially within the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department, where he was a training director.
